It is time to stand up and demand that people acknowledge the blatant racism that is happening. America has survived on a two party political system for a good portion of our history. We have seen over the last 40 years racism can rear its ugly head on either side of the isle. But let’s get one thing straight. There is only one political party that has demonstrated blatant racism on a consistent basis. There is only one political party who looks at minorities as incompetent and inferior.  That my friends are the Democratic Party!

Let’s look at the facts!

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was a contentious bill.  Democrat Robert Byrd filibustered for over 14 hours to oppose it.  When the votes were finally counted, it was the Republicans who showed a stronger support for it than their colleagues on the other side. The final senate bill passed by having 69% of the Democrats supporting it compared to 81% of the Republicans. When it went to the house it was more of the same.  House Democrats had 63% support compared to 83% of the Republicans. …..But Republicans are a bunch of white rednecks!

Democrats have pandered to the inner cities essentially telling them you are not smart enough to take care of yourself. Entitlements have been the main downfall of the African American community. Who is preaching entitlements? It’s the Democrats! The Democratic Party has gained power off the backs of minorities, claiming they will be discarded by the Republicans first chance they get. Instead of encouraging hard work and hope, they promote lower standards and unfairness. No inner city kid has been given the right to attend the better schools. They can’t learn from the better teachers who care and want to see them reach their potential. The Democrats block the vouchers and keep them trapped in their surroundings where they are feeding off of the government tit.  

Democrats treat minorities like a pet animal. If you give them enough to eat they will remain loyal and love you no matter what. What happens when the pet is let outside? The pet flourishes with joy and excitement at the freedom they have never had. Then they are taken home to their confinement where they dream of that freedom.

Democrats say that freedom isn’t possible. You are better off at home where I will feed you and give you comfort. Freedom isn’t a reality because you are not capable of taking care of yourself.

Republicans want to take the pet animal to the country and let them go free.  They also know that they will have to help them learn how to fend for themselves. The joy of watching them run makes it worth the investment of teaching them to survive. It requires being a little harsh on the pet, because they have never learned to live on their own. The reward from the hard work is worth the pain for both. The pet is free to and we can enjoy watching them thrive on their own. Don’t forget that we are still there to help when we are needed. That is our job. We are not there to take care of them permanently.

One day when the African American community realizes how insignificant they are to the Democrats, it will be the destruction of the party.

It is racism stupid! Just turn to your left and look.!

I have sat around in amazement at the political lynching of the Mainstream Media! In an obvious attempt at distorting the truth, the right wing fringe of the Republican Party are making things up! Today on a radio talk show, Charlie Gibson stated that he had not heard anything about this so called ACORN scandal. It was immediately picked up by conservatives and the lynching started. Come on people! Why should this guy know anything about ACORN and the scandal? You act like it is his job to report anything newsworthy or corrupt in……………….uh oh! I mean you act like he gets up everyday and tries to keep informed about things that affect……………hmmm! Well he is retiring right?

It’s like this Van Jones thing. Here is a guy who resigns from his job as Green Czar amid a complete smear job by the right. What are talk radio heads thinking? They act like this guy is a commie who wants to………………really! I mean Republicans act like he has gone out in public and called them names or made disparaging remarks…………..your kidding?  Yeah! Well until he thinks our government is trying to kill its own citizens, the right should just back……………WHAT!  I am sure that the mainstream media covered it from the very beginning! You act like they never mentioned it until after ………………OH COME ON!!!!! SOMEBODY HELP ME HERE!

According to CNN, MSNBC, CBS & ABC you guys are all NUTS! So there!

Report on my trip to DC for the Tea Party!

I arrived in Washington DC at 3:30 pm on Friday the 11^th. Knowing I had a long wait until my right wing nut job posse was to arrive. I took the metro rail down to see the sights. While riding on the train I notice the entire car was full of people sitting quietly with their eyes wide open afraid to talk. This prompted me to ask, “Are you guys here for the Tea Party?” The entire car exhaled at the same time and said “Yes!” It was then that I thought this thing might be bigger than expected. I was sitting on a train full of right wing, carpet bombing nut jobs afraid to open their mouths. I was officially intimidated by them, just like MSNBC and CNN said I should be. These were truly a fringe element of wacko’s.

Once arriving at the Smithsonian stop and emerging up into the middle of our capital city it got scary. I noticed at least 80% of the people walking around were wearing t-shirts, stickers or buttons that indicated they were there to wreak havoc! I stood appalled as I watched them touring the sights. I noticed at the WW II, Vietnam & Korea War Memorials they were subdued.  They bowed their heads as if to pray. They took pictures and I even saw a few of them actually remove their hats out of respect.  Who were these LOONS? Did I actually want to be seen with them? I decided then and there that I was going to have to get away from these lunatics. I went to supper and waited on my ride until almost 3 a.m.

Saturday morning started with a continental breakfast and a drive in from Alexandria Virginia.  We were moving hotels to downtown DC. We dropped off our luggage and car and proceeded to the rally. We were met with hostility right off the bat. Upon approaching Pennsylvania Avenue we noticed that they had decided to start without us. There was a sea of people as far as the eyes could see either way. We jumped in at 10^th street. We were amazed to see so many people in one place at one time. They were all way up to the Capital steps and as far as you could see the other way.  It was during the march that I was first accosted by these carpet bombing fringe nuts. A man pushing a stroller with his grandson in it rolled over my foot. He immediately turned to me and said, “Excuse me.” I said, “No problem.” I was on the verge of tears from the total fright. He actually patted my back while apologizing! I fought through it though, because I was here on a mission. We walked to the Capital and they moved us around to the lawn on the right side of the steps. We could not see the stage, but we could see all the way back to the Washington Monument. This had to be over a mile back. There was not an open spot as far back as we could see. It was a sea of right wing, redneck, carpet bombing racist.   Reports were saying tens of thousands. I have been to Texas Motor Speedway on many occasions. It holds over a 120,000 people. I saw at least four Texas Motor Speedways.  You do the math. We heard reports of 1.5 million up to 2. I am not sure that was the case. I would venture to say that there were at least half a million. That is over 50 tens of thousands! CNN and MSNBC said a few thousand. I saw 80 portable bathrooms with an average of 16 people in each line. That means over 1200 of the few thousand were waiting to relieve themselves. The rally had a ton of speakers and the signs were what made it great.

The rally ended with riot police shooting tear gas into the crowd and beating us back to our hotels with knight sticks on horseback! Just kidding. Actually, when the speakers started winding down, half a million people went to have a late lunch and see more of the sights. I found it ironic that there were NO trash cans anywhere. My guess was they expected people to just throw down their trash so they could say we made a mess. Of course not these looters! They actually found trash cans blocks away and set everything in or around them.

Yesterday I arrived at my home around noon. The kids were waiting with fresh brownies and a present for dear old dad. I had missed my birthday with them and they wanted to surprise me. I got bubble gum and a couple of cd’s.(I am supposed to teach my four year old how to blow bubbles) Kathy got the boys down for a nap and then she …………never mind!

Thanks for all your well wishes. I had a blast and would ask everyone to keep voicing their opinion. The President is not paying attention to the trouble he is in. I cannot tell you the number of people I met who actually voted for him. I am not making this up! One had a sign that said “I am sorry! Can I have my change back?” I met people from Rhode Island who said they had buyers remorse. They didn’t like Bush, but this was worse. It brings a smile to this old mans face!
